photographer illegally arrested while shooting NY MTA subway sues for damages

and he better win - his constitutional rights were blatantly abused
Taylor, who likes using subway photos as his computer screensaver, says he told the officers that he was an MTA staffer and knew that photographing subways is legal, but that the officers arrested him anyway and held him for several hours. The charges against Taylor have since been dismissed.

(sorry, but the link is behind a subscriber-wall - the jist of the article is that Taylor, an MTA employee, was arrested on Feb 12 for shooting a subway train and is now suing the city for damages)
