"kids these days"

excellent piece by Eric Karjaluoto of Ideas On Ideas - Being around model railroaders, a community with an average age of 60 or 70, and always being one step out-of-sync with my peers (mom says I'm 21 going on 60), I have to heartily agree with his assessment that the new generation is no different that the previous ones. Every generation is heralded as having amazing new skills and opportunities while being blasted as lazy, spoiled, and rude and will one day make the same superficial statements about their successors.
